Transcript

1 · Title. This is the cohort intro for Promsa: who they are, how their work runs, and how the course is set up. The class video covers lesson one itself, and the written handover below the video has every detail.

2 · The company. Promsa distributes medical devices and surgical implant kits in Mexico, to hospitals and clinics, with about two hundred employees by our own research. That is why the class examples talk about surgery groups, kits and hospitals.

3 · How their work runs. A doctor asks for a surgery by email, in the doctor's own words, and a supervisor translates that into the warehouse's names for the pieces, by hand. Their system is Odoo, with a kit module of their own that new staff take about three months to learn. Day to day, they coordinate on WhatsApp: more than a hundred groups, about five hundred messages a day.

4 · The people. Up to a hundred and one people, Promsa staff who use a computer. Nobody at Promsa had formal AI training before the course. They all use free Claude; the pre-work asks them to install the desktop app, and some will be in the browser. The first profiles show warehouse, logistics and planning roles, plus sales and quality. Three Promsa people are cohort admins on the platform.

5 · The course. The course is four live classes of seventy five minutes on Google Meet, in Spanish, at three in the afternoon Mexico City time, ten at night in Italy: Tuesday the third, Monday the ninth, Tuesday the seventeenth and Monday the twenty third of November. Before and after each class there is pre-work on the Academy platform.

6 · Where it goes. Each class builds something of theirs. Lesson one, their task matrix. Lesson two, a spreadsheet turned into a presentation. Lesson three, a Proyecto that teaches them a practice of their role. Lesson four, their own instructions. Everything lands on a personal page called Mi camino con la IA, shown as a mockup for now.

7 · Contacts. Raffaello teaches lesson one with you and is your contact for the material, the platform and the participants. Support for participants in the course WhatsApp group stays with the AdapttoAI team. Anything about scope, dates or the contract comes to us.

Who the client is

Promsa distributes medical devices and surgical implant kits in Mexico, to hospitals and clinics. About 200 employees (from our research before the first call; not confirmed by Promsa). The rest of this section comes from our discovery call with Promsa, 26 August 2026.

How their work runs, from the same call:

  • A doctor asks for a surgery by email, in the doctor's own words. A supervisor translates those words into the warehouse's names for the pieces and kits, by hand.
  • The warehouse prepares the kit; it is washed, shipped to the hospital, confirmed on site, and what was used is recorded and billed.
  • Their system is Odoo, with a kit-management module of their own. It works, but new staff take about three months to learn it.
  • Day-to-day coordination runs on WhatsApp: more than 100 groups, about 500 messages a day.
  • Before this course, nobody at Promsa had formal AI training.

That is why the class examples talk about surgery groups, kits and hospitals (the "pedir a medias" slide in lesson 1, and Ana, the invented surgery coordinator, on the task-matrix example slide).

Separately from the course, we are talking with Promsa about AI agents on Odoo. That is not part of the course: if someone asks about it, say you will pass the question to us.

The people

Read from the Academy platform on 30 October, four days before lesson 1. Numbers will move as people accept their invitations.

What Source
Up to 101 people; 99 invitations created, 16 accepted so far Instructor onboarding deck, 19 October; Academy database, read 30 October 2026
Three Promsa people are cohort admins on the platform: Juan Pablo Pérez Teuffer, Javier Escandón Millet and Eloy Carranza Academy database, read 30 October 2026
Of the 15 who filled in their profile: warehouse, logistics, planning and operations roles (a supervisor, coordinators, a field project-lead manager, a planning deputy director), two sales executives, two quality analysts (one in compliance), a document tracker, a finance intern, a digital administrator Academy database, read 30 October 2026 (job titles as they typed them)
Promsa's staff who use a computer; in August Promsa was still deciding whether to include all its operational staff or cap the number Discovery call, 26 August
No formal AI training before the course Discovery call, 26 August
Everyone uses free Claude. The pre-work asks them to install the Claude desktop app; whoever's work computer blocks installs uses Claude in the browser, claude.ai. By 30 October only 3 had marked the install done selection.yaml, the Pre-L1 setup module; Academy database, 30 October
Their starting level comes from the questionnaire they filled in before the course (slide 15 of lesson 1) Lesson 1 agenda

The lesson 1 page has what the first five starting questionnaires say.

How the course runs

The course: AI Literacy Bootcamp, called "Inmersión en IA" for Promsa. Four live classes of 75 minutes on Google Meet, in Spanish, at 15:00 to 16:15 Mexico City time (22:00 to 23:15 in Italy; Italy is seven hours ahead from 25 October): Tuesday 3 November (lesson 1), Monday 9, Tuesday 17 and Monday 23 November. Lesson Live After, on the platform
1 · ¿Para qué usar la IA? Their task matrix Two real tasks, their first project
2 · La IA como analista y creador Spreadsheet → presentation With their own data, their first skill
3 · Proyectos y la IA como investigador A Proyecto that teaches you Their main task
4 · Tu IA, a tu medida Their own instructions, the group vote Their course summary

(Source: slide 5 of the lesson 1 deck.)

The pre-work lives on the Academy platform. Before lesson 1 (about 22 minutes): the course agreement, a starting questionnaire, installing the Claude desktop app with their account, and joining the course WhatsApp group. After each class there is a pack that finishes what the class started.

The tool: free Claude, Sonnet, in the desktop app, on a personal account. The course teaches principles that work in any tool; say so if someone uses a different one.

«Mi camino con la IA»: each person's page on the platform, where the exercises end up as projects. In lesson 1 it is shown as a mockup: the page is not live on the platform yet, so promise no date.

Contacts

Raffaello (AdapttoAI) teaches lesson 1 with you and is your contact for anything about the material, the platform or the participants. Giuseppe (AdapttoAI) is the other co-founder. At Promsa, the people we have met are Juan Pablo (warehouse and replenishment) and Javier (operations and surgery intake), who asked for the training on the discovery call of 26 August, and Carlos Antonio and Eloy Carranza, on a call about Odoo on 13 October. Juan Pablo, Javier and Eloy are the cohort admins on the platform. Anything about scope, dates or the contract goes to us, not to them.

The course WhatsApp group: participants join it in the pre-work. Support for participants there stays with the AdapttoAI team, not with you. (Source: instructor onboarding deck, 19 October.)
